About the Legal Internship Opportunity:
The Law Commission of India is inviting applications from LLB/LLM/Research students for assisting the commission in its legal/research/law reform projects.
The law commission holds three internship programmes – summer internship (May-June), winter internship (November-December) and mid-term internship programmes.
Eligibility:
The internship is available only for LLB/LLM/Research students.
the student pursuing a three year law degree or a five year law degree should be in the second, third, fourth and fifth year.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Interns would be required to help the commission in their legal research/law reform projects.
Interns would be required to present a research paper at the end of their internship on a selected topic.
Dates:
Winter internship deadline – October 1
Mid-term internship – Applications should reach 30 days in advance of the intended date of joining the internship.
Duration of Internship:
The duration of the internship is of four weeks which may be extended for another two weeks at the intern’s request by the competent authority.
Stipend:
The law commission will pay no remuneration/expenses.
